An ex-time trialist who decided that getting up at 5.30am most Sundays during the summer to ride himself into oblivion was no fun anymore, so swapped the bikes for cameras and now gets up at 4.00am most Saturdays and Sundays during the summer to photograph insects.
No formal photographic training - taught by the authors of various books and magazine articles along with a lot of trial and error.
Various nature photography awards received for entries to Midphot, the annual exhibition for members of camera clubs affiliated to the Midlands Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF).
Nature photographs and landcscape photographs have also been accepted in International exhibitions around the world and a few have received awards.
